Consultant - Business Intelligence

Role Overview: You will be responsible for rendering BI consultancy services which include requirement definition, documentation, requirement analysis, solutioning, estimation, solution Bill of Materials (BoM) creation, and IT sizing. Additionally, you will work closely with the Implementation Team and occasionally lead the team. Your role will also involve identifying cross-sell opportunities within the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the sales team and prospects to analyze requirements, assist in demos, and develop Proof of Concepts (PoCs) related to Management Information System (MIS) reports and dashboards. Qualifications Required: - Sound BI consultancy skills. - Hands-on experience in any BI tool. - Exposure to Open Source BI tools is advantageous. - Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and scripting. - Good understanding of Data Warehouse (DWH) concepts. - Experience in publishing reports/dashboards between environments and scheduling jobs. Additional Details: The company is looking for individuals with a strong understanding of sales processes and exposure to any ETL tool, which will be considered an added advantage. Moreover, possessing good verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills, is essential for this role. Please note that the educational background required for this position is a B.E./B.Tech/MCA degree, and the ideal candidate should have more than five years of experience in this field.
