Job Description

Job Title: Site Supervisor – Railway Works Location: RAIPUR CHHATISGARH Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 1–2 years in civil construction (railway projects preferred) Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Job Description: We are looking for a responsible and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day railway construction activities. The candidate should be capable of handling manpower, ensuring safety, maintaining work quality, and achieving project deadlines efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and monitor railway construction works such as track laying, platform works, bridges, or related infrastructure. Manage daily workforce and subcontractors to ensure smooth work execution. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain site discipline. Coordinate with Site Engineers, contractors, and storekeepers for material requirements. Maintain accurate records of attendance, material usage, work progress, and site issues. Inspect work to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and quality standards. Communicate any delays, challenges, or incidents to the project manager or engineer. Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and support in achieving overall project milestones. Requirements: ITI / Diploma in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering . 1–2 years of experience in site supervision, preferably on railway or infrastructure projects. Ability to read basic technical drawings and understand site layouts. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Knowledge of basic measurement and construction tools. Physically fit and willing to work at construction sites, including remote areas.
