AQUILA Champion role in AQUILA franchisees The AQUILA Champion is the main person/contact in the AQUILA franchisees organisation for all matters relating to AQUILA especially relating to knowledge transfer, reporting, and other forms of communication. Technical understanding and knowledge transfer: The AQUILA Champion is the franchisees technical expert in relation to all AQUILA technology and systems (including the use of all AQUILA NDT equipment and the cloud-based digital twin platform). This requires becoming and remaining competent in the use of the technology and systems, and efficiently passing that knowledge on within the franchisees organisation. Therefore, the AQUILA Champion must be diligent in taking full advantage of all learning opportunities provided by the franchisor, and must use his/her own initiative to expand his/her understanding of the technology and systems by any means necessary to achieve the required level of competence. Reporting and general communication: The AQUILA Champion is the franchisees responsible person and first point of contact for all general communication between the franchisee and the franchisor. This includes: Regular reporting on the status of quotations and orders/projects. General sharing of information and answering queries as may be required in daily business. Suggested profile / Typical requirements: In order to be efficient and effective in both of these areas (technical understanding and knowledge transfer, as well as reporting and general communication), the AQUILA Champion should: ¢ Have an engineering education and suitable experience in civil/structural engineering and project management, ideally with some knowledge or experience in the field of NDT or concrete analysis/properties. ¢ ¢ Be comfortable learning about and using modern technologies of the types used by AQUILA. Be comfortable and effective in sharing knowledge of the technology and systems with his/her colleagues and superiors. ¢ ¢ Really care about safety and quality, and be capable of planning work to ensure both. Be competent and reliable in preparing and issuing reports summarizing the status and key details of all quotations and orders/projects. ¢ Demonstrate a motivated attitude and competence in relation to o marketing and promoting AQUILAs value proposition in the franchisees territory o exploring and identifying new opportunities for projects, o preparing and sending quotations as appropriate with suitable attention to quotation/contract details, responsibilities and risks/liabilities, and a good understanding of how to price quotations in order to achieve the desired profitability o winning new contracts, o managing clients needs and expectations in a professional way, and o ensuring that all contracts are completed in a satisfactory way, from the perspectives of both AQUILA and the client. ¢ ¢ Demonstrate good team-management, project-management and problem-solving capabilities.
