Job Description Responsibility Area Description Deep Knowledge in planning and fabric processing Fabric Sourcing & amp; Procurement Identify and manage vendors for greige, dyed, printed, and finished fabric. Develop reliable sources, negotiate terms, and forecast requirements. Technical Expertise & Fabric Knowledge Deep knowledge of yarn, fabric construction, and finishes. Assess fabric quality parameters, oversee lab dips, and per- production samples. Vendor & Process Management Liaise with mills and process houses, monitor timelines, ensure quality, and resolve production issues. Order & amp; Process Management Manage end-to-end fabric orders, coordinate with teams, and meet export deadlines. Team Leadership Build and mentor a team, develop skills, and promote accountability. Reporting & Coordination Maintain MIS reports, vendor records, and update management regularly. Travel & Autonomy Independently travel for audits and approvals, work proactively without frequent permissions. Required Qualifications & Experience - Graduate/Postgraduate in Textile Engineering or similar domain. - 10–15 years of experience in textile/fabric procurement, preferably in exports. - Strong technical knowledge from yarn to finished fabric. - Exposure to home textiles (especially bed sheets). - Proficient in Microsoft Excel, procurement software, and ERP systems.
