*Job Description* for a *Documentation Executive – Freight Forwarding (LCL & FCL):* *Position:* Documentation Executive *Industry:* Logistics & Freight Forwarding *Experience Required:* 1–2 years (Freight Forwarding Industry) *Job Description:* We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive *Documentation Executive* to manage LCL and FCL shipment execution, coordinate across departments, and ensure end-to-end operational efficiency. *Key Responsibilities:* 1. *Shipment Execution & Coordination:* - Handle LCL and FCL shipments from booking to final delivery at destination. - Act as a coordinator between inbound and outbound teams. 2. *Documentation & Compliance:* - Prepare and verify shipping documents (HBL/MBL, Invoice, Packing List, Checklist). - Ensure documents comply with customs and regulatory requirements. 3. *Quotation & Pricing:* - Prepare accurate quotations for both customers and overseas agents/forwarders. - Coordinate with sales and pricing teams for rate finalization. 4. *System Handling:* - Operate freight forwarding/logistics software efficiently. - Ensure timely and accurate system updates for shipment milestones. 5. *Vendor & CHA Coordination:* Liaise with CHA, transporters, and other vendors to ensure smooth movement. - Follow up on checklist completion and compliance procedures. 6. *Reporting & Communication:* - Maintain records of all shipments and update clients on status. - Handle escalations and coordinate for quick resolution. *Desired Candidate Profile:* - 1–2 years of experience in freight forwarding/logistics industry. - Strong knowledge of LCL/FCL operations, documentation, and customs process. - Excellent communication and coordination skills. - Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software (ERP/TMS).
