As a Junior Architect at Design Pendulum, a spatial design firm based in New Delhi, you will play a crucial role in the design process at our studio in GK.3, New Delhi. Your responsibilities will include preparing drawings, sketches, physical and CG models, as well as conducting material sourcing and research. Additionally, you will be involved in design presentations, such as 2D and 3D renders, finishing schedules, material palettes, and relevant drawings. You will also be responsible for the preparation of working drawing schedules, Bill of Quantities (BoQ), construction and detail drawings, and both physical and CG models. Another aspect of your role will involve liaising and following up with vendors, contractors, and service providers. Furthermore, you will be in charge of project documentation, including drawings, photographs, and meeting minutes related to design processes and site visits. Studio upkeep will be an essential part of your duties, ensuring that the workspace is organized and well-maintained. As part of our commitment to professional development, all architects are required to participate in regular training and workshops focusing on skill enhancement, emotional resilience, embodied processes, and exploration of various creative media. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Architecture and possess strong architectural and design skills. We are looking for individuals who are curious, detail-oriented, and adept at problem-solving. Proficiency in drawing, 2D and 3D rendering, communication, and teamwork is essential. You should also demonstrate the ability to work creatively within project constraints, alongside traits such as conscientiousness and punctuality. Immediate availability to join is a prerequisite for this role.
