Role & responsibilities Senior Software Developer - LogPro The Senior Software Developer - LogPro analyzes, designs and implements solutions for Distribution Systems applications (i.e., WMS, TMS, interfaces to internal and external systems, conveyor applications, FedEx Ship Manager Server, ConnectShip, ICOM messaging software, job scheduling tools, etc.). The senior software developer collaborates with IT team members and business stakeholders to recommend solution alternatives and uses best practices in designing, developing, and implementing solutions. Duties & Responsibilities: Facilitate and participate in meetings with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, to define solutions leveraging existing applications and functionality. Provide 24/7 support for LogPro and Distribution Systems applications using advanced research and analytic skills to address issues within business and system processes. Support team members through knowledge sharing sessions to conceptualize solutions. Consults with and provides guidance to business partners regarding effective systems design, tool deployment, and SDLC management of LogPro and Distribution Systems applications. Supports the company's LogPro and Distribution Systems applications, via implementations, enhancements, integrations, configurations, issues resolution, testing and other technical projects as assigned. Configure LogPro and Distribution Systems applications, objects, fields, patches, etc. and all other tasks as assigned. Evaluate new WMS, TMS, and Distribution Systems applications. Develop and participate in plans for new application implementations. Remain current with WMS, TMS, and Distribution Systems best practices. Participate in the evolution of team best practices, standards and policies. Act as a team member of major and minor business system programs for key HMH initiatives.
