The Manager, SaaS Engineering position at Vena's SaaS Technology and Operations (STO) team in Indore office offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual who excels in leading and mentoring a team of Site Reliability Developers. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of highly scalable, resilient, and automated services that contribute to an exceptional customer experience on Vena's SaaS platform. Your expertise in software and systems engineering will be crucial in managing large-scale systems and services while ensuring maximum resiliency and uptime. Working closely with the Sr. Director of SaaS Engineering, you will lead and support your team in planning and deploying technical solutions effectively. Your role will involve providing technical guidance, mentoring team members for their career growth, and staying updated with the latest technology trends to optimize Venas architecture. You will also identify opportunities for technical and process improvements based on industry best practices and advocate for their implementation within the organization. As a member of the STO organization, you will be expected to demonstrate technical proficiency and actively participate in the implementation or proof of concept work. Maintaining issue tracking and documentation, resolving conflicts, and performing other assigned duties are also part of the role. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background with experience in IT Operational, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Software Engineering roles, along with leadership experience. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor a team of Site Reliability Developers - Provide technical oversight for planning and deployment functions - Stay updated with relevant technology landscapes and drive technical improvements - Advocate for process enhancements and best practices implementation - Participate in issue tracking, documentation, and conflict resolution - Collaborate cross-functionally and achieve results without direct reporting relationships Qualifications: - 5+ years of technical experience in relevant roles - 2-3+ years of leadership experience - Proficiency in cloud computing platforms (AWS and Azure) and infrastructure management - Strong coding skills in any language with production environment experience - Experience with operational aspects of software systems and monitoring tools If you have a passion for leading technical teams, driving innovation, and ensuring operational excellence, this role at Vena could be the perfect fit for you.
