As an Application Security Tester (SAST & DAST) at CirrusLabs, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of applications through a variety of testing methodologies. With 3 - 8 years of experience, you will be based in either Hyderabad or Bangaluru, focusing on a range of security activities including Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), penetration testing, and mobile app testing for Android and iOS platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Possess deep and diverse hands-on experience in SAST, DAST, and mobile app testing, demonstrating proficiency in these areas. - Conduct activities such as static code assessment, manual testing, and mobile application testing for Android and iOS applications. - Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements for DevSecOps services and have a strong understanding of application security engineering principles. - Collaborate with clients" development teams to promote secure development practices, including security design review, architecture review, threat modeling, security testing, and secure code review. - Maintain knowledge of application deployment and configuration baselines to operate in a secure environment, handling exceptions effectively during operations. - Utilize technology-based tools to enhance monitoring, management, and reliability of services. - Perform both manual and automated security assessments on applications, triage and track defects, and assist development teams in resolving issues at the code level. - Act as a liaison between application development, infrastructure teams, and integrating processes to ensure secure development and testing. - Identify, research, and analyze application security events, including emerging threats, and actively monitor potential threat actors and tactics that may impact the client's environment.
