As an Electrical Lead Engineer at our Engineering & Construction company based in Gurugram, India, you will utilize your more than 10 years of engineering experience to lead and execute projects involving Combined Cycle Power Plants, LNG Plants, Solar Power Plants, and more. Reporting to the Lead Engineer/Engineering Manager - Electrical, your primary responsibility will be to conceptualize and design electrical systems, perform electrical studies and equipment sizing calculations, develop equipment and load lists, and prepare technical specifications and construction drawings. Your key responsibilities will include writing electrical engineering standards, conducting load flow and short circuit studies, creating single line diagrams, determining equipment sizing, compiling equipment lists and cable schedules, managing equipment suppliers, designing electrical rooms, ensuring proper earthing and lighting design, planning GIS, and calculating electrical bill of materials. To excel in this role, you should have a strong background in Plant Electrical System Engineering, project management, and supervision. You must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English, and the ability to think methodically and maintain an overview of entire projects. Your tasks will also involve negotiating, ensuring legal compliance, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure project success. This is a full-time, permanent position that may require occasional travel based on business requirements.
