As a Stock Management-Material & Logistics professional, your role involves managing the stock effectively to ensure accurate inventory levels and compliance with organizational policies. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conducting scheduled and surprise stock audits as per organizational policy, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly physical verifications. - Verifying that all items are properly tagged and labelled with correct information such as item codes, descriptions, and status (usable, damaged, obsolete). - Identifying discrepancies like shortages, excess, or wrong items and preparing detailed discrepancy reports for further investigation. - Recording and submitting comprehensive stock verification reports with essential details like dates, times, team members involved, and variance remarks. - Assessing the physical condition of stored items to flag any damaged, expired, or substandard items. - Collaborating closely with storekeepers, QC members, and project teams to address issues, validate entries, and resolve anomalies. - Assisting in preparing inventory documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and stockroom access policies. - Categorizing inventory items as active, slow-moving, or obsolete to optimize inventory management. - Providing support for year-end stock closure, reconciliation, and reporting for financial statements. - Handling material loading and unloading activities efficiently. In addition to the mentioned responsibilities, you will be required to work in person at the Chennai location on a full-time basis. The company offers Provident Fund benefits to eligible employees.,
