Urgent Requirement for Manager Civil Purchase / Procurement Designation: Manager - Civil Purchase Experience: 5 to 8 Years Location: Vadodara Function: Purchase / Procurement / Supply Chain Education: Diploma / B.E. in Civil Engineering Job Description: We are looking for a qualified and experienced Civil Purchase Manager to lead and manage procurement activities for our Greenfield industrial/manufacturing projects. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end purchasing of civil construction materials and equipment, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and cost-efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Manage procurement of all civil construction and interior materials, including cement, steel, concrete admixtures, waterproofing chemicals, flooring, tiles, sanitary fittings, etc. Handle procurement of construction equipment such as earthmoving machines, concrete mixers, rollers, vibrators, etc., as per project requirements. Work closely with architects, structural consultants, and project teams for material specifications, approvals, and delivery schedules. Identify and develop a strong network of reliable vendors and suppliers evaluate quotations and prepare cost comparisons. Negotiate with vendors to finalize the best commercial and delivery terms, ensuring cost-effective procurement. Issue Purchase Orders (POs), coordinate deliveries, and ensure on-time supply at project sites. Maintain proper documentation for all purchase activities including POs, invoices, quality reports, and material receipts. Maintain procurement-related data in ERP systems (e.g., SAP / Oracle / Tally) and prepare reports for management review. Support budgeting, cost control, and forecasting activities related to material procurement. Key Skills Required: Civil Purchase & Material Procurement Vendor Development & Negotiation Greenfield Project Procurement Experience Coordination with Architects & Consultants Construction Equipment Procurement MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Candidate Profile: Diploma / B.E. in Civil Engineering 58 years of hands-on experience in civil procurement, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or industrial projects Strong knowledge of civil construction materials and vendors Must have worked on at least one Greenfield or large-scale industrial project Interested applicants can shared resume on career@excelsource.co.in
