Role Overview We are looking for an exceptional cinematographer a mad creative genius who can craft visuals of cinematic grandeur and refined intimacy . Someone who sees the world in frames, understands the play of light like a painter, and tells stories through motion like a poet. Whether it’s a lavish palace campaign shoot or a simple store reel , every output should feel like art — timeless, immersive, and worthy of our brand’s luxury positioning. This role is a one-man powerhouse : capture, direct, edit, grade, and deliver end-to-end productions with a signature cinematic touch. Key Responsibilities 1. Cinematography & Visual Direction Deliver cinematic, high-art visuals in the spirit of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s grandeur or Sabyasachi’s crafted elegance. Master lighting (natural, studio, mixed) to elevate fabrics, textures, and craft details. Plan and execute luxury shoots at palaces, outdoor landscapes, retail spaces, and intimate studios — each frame must feel like a painting. 2. Conceptualization & Storytelling Collaborate with Head of Marketing on campaign concepts, but bring your own vision and treatments to elevate ideas. Storyboard and structure narratives (opening hook story beat luxury payoff). Maintain flexibility: cinematic films, short reels, lookbook videos, teasers, BTS. 3. Production Management Operate as a solo creator by default: camera, audio, direction, and on-site problem solving. Manage equipment setup, logistics, and permissions for challenging locations (e.g., palaces, heritage sites, outdoor environments). Build scalable setups: sometimes intimate one-camera work, sometimes coordinating small support crews for complex shoots. 4. Editing, Color Grading & Post-Production Edit films with cinematic rhythm and luxury pacing . Perform high-end color grading (skin tones, fabric richness, atmosphere). Add subtle sound design, transitions, and treatments that reinforce narrative mood. Deliver master and platform-optimized versions (IG reels, YouTube, campaign films, website hero banners). 5. Creative Excellence in Every Format Treat every project with equal creative seriousness — from a palace campaign film to a 15-second Instagram story. Ensure outputs are always polished, emotionally resonant, and luxury-grade . Maintain consistency and evolve a recognizable visual language for the brand. Must-Have Skills Exceptional cinematographic eye : framing, movement, mood, texture. Proficiency in high-end video editing & post: Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve. Mastery of color grading and creating signature luxury LUTs. Strong sense of storytelling rhythm ; ability to make even simple shots feel cinematic. Ability to handle end-to-end production independently. Good-to-Have Skills Set design sensibility; familiarity with fashion styling and art direction. Stills photography skills for crossover needs. Experimentation with emerging tools: drones, 360, AR/VR concepts. Tools DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro, Lightroom (for consistency in stills), sound libraries.
