As a Maths and Science educator at Kings College UK, Gurugram, you will play a crucial role in delivering transformative learning experiences to students aged 3 to 18 through the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP). With a deep understanding of the IB curriculum, you will design and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that foster critical thinking and real-world application of scientific and mathematical concepts. For the Primary Years Programme, you will create transdisciplinary Maths and Science lessons in alignment with PYP principles, integrating inquiry-based learning and fostering curiosity, collaboration, and creativity among young learners. Collaboration with homeroom and specialist teachers, along with the use of formative and summative assessment tools, will be key in ensuring a holistic learning experience and monitoring student progress. In the Middle Years Programme, you will plan and deliver subject-specific units in Mathematics and Sciences aligned with the MYP framework. By facilitating interdisciplinary projects, encouraging real-world application of concepts, and providing constructive feedback to promote student reflection and improvement, you will contribute to students" personal project development and acquisition of ATL (Approaches to Learning) skills. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelors/Masters Degree in Education or a relevant subject area (Maths/Science), along with IB-certified training in PYP and/or MYP. A minimum of 2-5 years of teaching experience in an IB or international curriculum setting is preferred, accompanied by a strong grasp of IB philosophy, inquiry-based learning, and assessment strategies. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills, as well as proficiency in educational technology and blended learning practices, are crucial for success.
