The candidate will be responsible for developing, running, and analyzing thermal and fluid simulations to enhance safety, efficiency, and performance in battery pack and module designs. This role requires both technical expertise and a passion for emerging technologies in energy storage and electric mobility. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute thermal and fluid simulations for lithium-ion battery cells, modules, and packs using industry-standard tools (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+, COMSOL). Analyze heat generation, dissipation, and cooling strategies under different operating conditions. Design and validate thermal management solutions, including liquid and air cooling systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, electrochemistry) to ensure simulation insights inform product design. Generate technical reports, validation documents, and recommendations for design improvements. Stay updated on industry trends, new modeling techniques, and thermal management technologies. Qualifications & Skills Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field. 23 years of hands-on experience in thermal and fluid simulations, preferably in the field of energy storage, EV batteries, or related thermal management applications. Proficiency with simulation software such as ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+, COMSOL Multiphysics, or equivalent. Strong understanding of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics. Experience with battery systems (cells, modules, packs) is highly desirable. Ability to interpret and validate simulation results with experimental data. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
