As a Battery Modeling Scientist at SimLionics Pvt Ltd, you will have the opportunity to join India's leading battery modeling team dedicated to advancing battery intelligence innovation for electric mobility and energy storage. By combining your deep domain expertise with cutting-edge simulations, you will play a crucial role in solving real-world challenges and pushing the boundaries of battery technology. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and implementing advanced battery life and degradation models, designing and optimizing equivalent circuit models for various battery chemistries, creating sophisticated porous electrode models for performance prediction, conducting battery thermal modeling and analysis, and applying Physics-Inspired AI methodologies to enhance modeling accuracy. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research into practical solutions, present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, and stay current with the latest developments in battery modeling and simulation techniques. To qualify for this role, you must hold a Ph.D. in Batteries, Electrochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. You should also possess strong proficiency in MATLAB, COMSOL Multiphysics, and Python, with demonstrated experience in battery life and degradation modeling, equivalent circuit modeling techniques, and porous electrode modeling methodologies. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in battery modeling and simulation is preferred, along with a proven track record of successful research and development projects and experience with battery testing and validation methodologies. Preferred qualifications include experience with Physics-Inspired AI applications in battery systems, expertise in battery thermal modeling and thermal management systems, knowledge of various battery chemistries (Li-ion, solid-state, etc.), experience with experimental battery characterization techniques, publications in peer-reviewed journals, and experience with machine learning and data analytics in battery applications.
