Develop and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons in computer science and programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Scratch, HTML/CSS). Teach students the fundamentals of computer operations, digital citizenship, and safe internet practices. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and inquiry. Design and assess student projects and assignments to evaluate understanding and skill development. Stay current with new teaching methods, technologies, and curriculum developments in computer science education. Prepare students for coding competitions, tech fairs, and certifications where applicable. Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate technology across subjects and develop interdisciplinary projects. Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents. Qualifications: Bachelors degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field. Teaching certification/license (as per local regulations) is preferred. Proven experience in teaching coding and computer skills to students. Proficiency in at least one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript). Familiarity with educational technology platforms and tools (e.g., Google Classroom, Code.org, Tynker, Scratch). Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills. Preferred Skills: Experience with robotics, app development, or web design is a plus. Knowledge of project-based learning and STEAM education models. Ability to differentiate instruction to accommodate a range of learning styles.
