Computer Scientist - II (Frontend)

As an Individual Contributor at Adobe, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative features and solutions to create engaging content that resonates with a global audience. Your primary responsibilities will include prototyping, developing, and unit-testing scalable features with the highest quality standards. Collaborating with teammates, you will explore and implement effective problem-solving approaches, conduct code reviews, and provide constructive feedback to enhance coding techniques. Additionally, you will work closely with Ops partners to plan, develop, monitor, and optimize infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability. To excel in this role, you should hold a BTech/MS in Computer Science or related fields or possess extensive software development experience. With a minimum of 7 years of industry experience, including at least 5 years of building modern web applications, you should demonstrate a strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, architecture, design, and performance principles. Proficiency in JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML, and modern web technologies is essential, along with expertise in REACT tools such as React.js, Webpack, Webhooks, and Redux. Familiarity with tools like Rush, Bazel, and Playwright will be advantageous. Creative problem-solving skills, coupled with experience in browser-based debugging and performance testing, will be key assets in troubleshooting and resolving issues effectively. Effective communication, a willingness to work under pressure, and a hunger for learning and succeeding in a fast-paced environment are essential qualities for this role.
