Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Computer Science Teacher to teach foundational digital literacy and computer skills to students from Grade 1 to Grade 5. The ideal candidate will design engaging, age-appropriate lessons that develop problem-solving, creativity, and safe technology use among young learners.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver computer classes aligned with grade-level learning outcomes and CBSE/NEP 2020 guidelines.
• Introduce children to basic computer operations, typing, block-based coding (e.g., Scratch), and digital creativity tools.
• Integrate technology into cross-curricular projects (e.g., creating storybooks, presentations).
• Teach internet safety, responsible digital behavior, and the ethical use of technology.
• Maintain computer lab equipment and manage basic troubleshooting needs.
• Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments.
• Coordinate with homeroom teachers to support project-based learning using technology.
• Participate in school events, teacher meetings, and training sessions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Education (B.Ed preferred).
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setup.
• Familiarity with early-grade digital tools (MS Office, Scratch, Paint, Tux Typing, etc.).
• Patience, creativity, and strong communication skills with young learners.
• Ability to integrate values and character education into lessons.
• Passion for education and child development.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of coding platforms like Code.org, Scratch Jr, or Blockly.
• Experience in Google Workspace for Education.
• Classroom management in digital learning environments.
• Innovative mindset to make learning fun and interactive.
