Job Description (Chennai)

We're looking for a Computer Operator to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of experience in computer operations or a similar IT support role and is a proactive problem-solver with a strong attention to detail. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and continuous operation of our computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain computer systems: Oversee system performance, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure all systems run efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance: Conduct daily tasks such as data backups, system checks, and software updates.
• Provide first-level technical support: Assist users with basic technical inquiries and resolve common issues like login problems or software errors.
• Manage data and documentation: Input, update, and manage data with high accuracy. Maintain detailed logs of all system activities, incidents, and resolutions.
• Operate and manage peripherals: Handle and maintain computer peripheral equipment like printers, scanners, and other office machines.
• Collaborate with IT teams: Work with senior operators and IT support to address complex technical challenges and implement system upgrades.

Qualifications & Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in computer operations, data entry, or IT support.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with ticketing systems and data management tools is a plus.
