As an HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for demonstrating a thorough understanding of basic refrigeration & Heating systems part/components and their applications. You will need to read and understand equipment wiring diagrams and be able to troubleshoot and repair based on the above knowledge. Proficiency in the diagnosis of HVAC controls and equipment problems is essential, and you will need to recommend the repair or replacement of said equipment as to be in the best interest of the customer. It is also crucial to perform the recovery and charging of refrigerants used in AC equipment and to follow all EPA mandates for refrigerant recovery. Your role will involve diagnosing causes of problems and/or failures in Heating/air conditioning systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair and/or replacement needs. You will be required to inform personnel regarding procedures and/or status of work orders for the purpose of providing information for making decisions, taking appropriate action and/or complying with building and safety regulations. Regular inspection of HVAC systems and their components will be necessary for evaluating condition, identifying necessary repairs, and recommending preventive maintenance. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining vehicles, tools, and equipment to ensure availability in safe operating condition. Performing routine and preventive maintenance as needed is essential for ensuring the ongoing functioning of HVAC systems. You will also need to respond to emergency situations during or after hours to resolve immediate safety concerns. Furthermore, your duties will include researching, designing, fabricating, and installing HVAC mechanical equipment to meet clients" requirements in both large and small industries. You will consult on HVAC system and equipment design for a wide range of projects, working with other engineers, project managers, and construction professionals as needed to create and/or modify design parameters. Analyzing HVAC systems and equipment to find inefficiencies or malfunctions and creating solutions to optimize performance will be part of your responsibilities. In terms of qualifications, a Bachelor's degree plus experience in the HVAC engineering industry is required. You should have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, be punctual, and able to meet deadlines. Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with customers and other team members. This is a full-time position with benefits including leave encashment and provident fund. The schedule is a day shift with the potential for a yearly bonus. The location for this role is Vadodara, Gujarat, and reliable commuting or relocation is required. A Diploma is a minimum education requirement, and day shift availability is preferred, with a willingness to travel up to 25% also preferred.
