Computer Aided Design Drafter

As a Design Draughtsman, your role involves preparing accurate engineering and tooling drawings (DRG) using AutoCAD and Autodesk software. You will need to coordinate with PPC, Sales, and other internal departments to gather design inputs and obtain necessary approvals. It is crucial to update drawings, maintain revision control, and ensure all documents meet quality and engineering standards. Additionally, you will provide technical support to the production team by clarifying design specifications and resolving drawing-related issues. Meeting daily design targets, project deadlines, and maintaining high accuracy are key responsibilities. Flexibility to work effectively in two rotational shifts as required is essential. Your qualifications should include an ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Drafting / Mechanical Engineering. Proficiency in AutoCAD & Autodesk drafting tools is a must. You should have a strong understanding of manufacturing drawings, GD&T, and detailing practices. Being detail-oriented, target-driven, and capable of effective coordination with cross-functional teams are important attributes for this role. Good communication and documentation skills will also be beneficial in fulfilling your responsibilities.,
