Seeking 2 reqs: an experienced Snowflake Architect with strong Azure and ADF expertise to design and deliver enterprise-grade data platforms. Another req exists for a 4-5 year similar experience Senior Developer. The candidate will be responsible for architecting scalable cloud data warehouse solutions, integrating with Azure services, and ensuring performance, governance, and security across the data ecosystem. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement Snowflake-based Data Warehouse solutions on Azure Cloud. • Lead end-to-end data architecture, including data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration using Azure Data Factory (ADF). • Define data modeling standards (dimensional, Data Vault, 3NF) and implement best practices for Snowflake. • Establish data governance, security, and compliance frameworks with Azure AD, RBAC, and data masking policies. • Optimize query performance, cost management, and scalability in Snowflake. • Integrate Snowflake with Azure services (ADF, ADLS Gen2, Synapse, Logic Apps, Functions, Event Hub, Purview). • Mentor data engineers and developers in Azure + Snowflake best practices. • Drive adoption of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake and ADF workflows. • Partner with stakeholders to define analytics, BI, and reporting solutions using Power BI or other tools. ⸻ Required Skills & Qualifications • Strong expertise in Snowflake architecture, design, and implementation. • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) – pipelines, triggers, monitoring, and error handling. • Solid understanding of Azure ecosystem: ADLS Gen2, Azure Synapse, Key Vault, Purview, DataBricks (preferred). • Proficiency in SQL, ELT/ETL design, and performance optimization in Snowflake. • Experience with data modeling tools (Erwin, dbt, PowerDesigner, etc.). • Strong understanding of data governance, lineage, and security frameworks in Azure. • Good knowledge of Python, PowerShell, or Scala for scripting and automation. • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. ⸻ Nice-to-Have • SnowPro Core or Advanced Architect certification. • Azure Data Engineer / Azure Solution Architect certification. • Exposure to real-time streaming (Event Hub, Kafka). • Experience integrating with Power BI or Tableau for reporting.
