As an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Robotics at GITAM (Deemed to be University), your primary responsibility will be to demonstrate proficiency in various subjects such as autonomous systems and mobile robotics, robot dynamics and control, computational kinematics, human-robot interaction, soft robotics and bio-inspired design, robotic manipulation, mechatronics and embedded systems, as well as ROS and Computer Vision. To excel in this role, you should possess demonstrated potential for high-impact research in robotics, a strong commitment to teaching excellence and student mentorship, as well as effective communication and interpersonal skills. Additionally, you are expected to hold a PhD in Robotics from an Accredited University with relevant teaching experience, have experience in interdisciplinary research or collaboration, a track record of peer-reviewed publications, and show potential for securing competitive grant funding.
