Job Description: Understanding the customers cooling needs Creation of opportunities by positioning right product, based on those needs. Replication of existing cooling applications in various industries Submission of Techno- Commercial offer for providing the solution to Clients' cooling or heating requirements by positioning of Thermax cooling products Should handle customer objections. Should work with channel associates (indirect sale) Managing internal customers-teaming with all the departments Closure of the opportunity by sale transaction with win results to client and Thermax Overall responsible for the sales target in terms of turn-over and no. of products in the region. Should have hands-on O&M of utility & electrical equipment (chillers, compressors, boilers, TFH, DG sets, VFD, panels), knowledge of CP, DTY, water treatment, IMS, SCADA/DCS, legal compliance, shift handling, team management & documentation.

Role & responsibilities Design mechanical components using 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor). Develop detailed 2D drawings with correct tolerances and GD&T. Prepare complete Bill of Materials (BOMs) and product documentation. Participate in and sometimes lead design reviews and cross-functional meetings. Interface with CAE teams for simulation and testing inputs and improvements. Work with sourcing to support global supplier selection and manufacturability analysis. Analyse design performance, durability, and manufacturability. Perform design calculations and assist in simulations to validate designs. Support prototyping and validation stages; review test results and modify designs accordingly. Ensure all designs comply with CE, ATEX, 3A, EHEDG, and FDA standards. Integrate documentation into PDM/ERP platforms like Vault and SAP. Support creation of multilingual technical manuals and certifications. Assist in training and guiding junior engineers. Review and approve their models, drawings, and documentation Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Hands-on experience in rotating machinery or fluid dynamics preferred. Strong CAD skills; knowledge of GD&T and DFM principles. Familiarity with global engineering standards and regulatory documentation. Effective team player with strong communication skills and analytical thinking.
