JOB PURPOSE To design, develop, and validate composite components and assemblies for rolling stock applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards, project requirements, and customer specifications. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Design composite components (e.g., interiors, structural panels, fairings) for rolling stock using 3D CAD software (preferably SolidWorks, CATIA, or Siemens NX). Prepare detailed engineering drawings, assembly models, and Bill of Materials (BOM). Ensure designs comply with relevant rail standards (EN 45545, UIC, RDSO, etc.) and customer specifications. Perform basic structural and thermal analysis in collaboration with FEA teams.
