As a MERN Developer (Web Engineer) with 5-8 years of experience, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge web applications in Bangalore following a hybrid model. Your expertise in various technologies is crucial for ensuring the success of our projects. You must possess strong JavaScript skills with a deep understanding of JS concepts. Proficiency in React.js is essential, including knowledge of component architecture, state management, hooks, and performance optimization. Experience with Next.js is required, particularly in server-side rendering, routing, API routes, serverless functions, and page/image optimization. Fluency in TypeScript is a must, with hands-on experience in enterprise-scale projects. Proficiency in Node.js/Express is necessary, including knowledge of the event loop, async patterns, middleware, REST APIs, error handling, API versioning, and Swagger/OpenAPI. You should be familiar with component libraries like Storybook for reusable component design and usage. Experience with CI/CD processes and Docker containers is preferred. Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform (Azure/GCP/AWS), databases (SQL and NoSQL), unit testing, integration of middleware and 3rd-party tools, error handling, debugging, and security best practices is crucial. Nice to have skills include experience with E2E testing, DevOps awareness, understanding of microservices and GraphQL APIs, knowledge of performance and security basics, familiarity with AI-powered tools, and exposure to Terraform, CMS, serverless functions, AI/ML integration, and event-driven architecture. This role requires full-time commitment under contractual/temporary terms for a 24-month period.
