Job Title: Senior Manager - Developer Acquisition Function : Developer Growth & Retention Location : Bengaluru, India (On-site) Responsibilities Own and lead developer acquisition across high-potential categories for Indus Appstore from identifying opportunities to scaling partnerships and ensuring a seamless end-to-end developer experience. Execute the acquisition strategy and roadmap aligned with Indus Appstore s broader vision in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Build and nurture strategic relationships with developers, government bodies, aggregators, and ecosystem players. Represent Indus in forums, industry events, and regulatory discussions to foster credibility and community development. Act as a charter owner and thought leader - linking insights across app verticals, developer needs, regulatory shifts, and user behavior. Deliver against acquisition KPIs : developer penetration, onboarding velocity, version management, monetization potential, and developer satisfaction. Actively monitor and drive commercial performance - including monetization outcomes through advertising, software services, and transactions. Drive operational rigor and cross-functional execution excellence by working closely with Strategy, Product, Data Science, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, BizFin, and Compliance. Collaborate with product teams to improve app onboarding journeys, reduce developer friction , and continuously improve the developer experience. Lead GTM and new product launches , including portfolio marketing strategy by defining messaging, value proposition development, pricing, positioning, internal communication, and competitive research. Manage regulatory and/or compliance interaction with regulatory entities & internal teams Create a culture of excellence and high ownership , establishing acquisition playbooks, automation, knowledge-sharing mechanisms, and process excellence. Mentor and build a high-performing team , empowering individuals with decision-making authority and coaching them for long-term growth. Willingness to travel as needed to build strong on-ground relationships and drive high-quality engagement with the developer ecosystem. Ideal Candidate Profile 10+ years of experience in developer relations, ecosystem partnerships, category management, or account management in tech/consumer platforms. MBA from a Tier 1 institute Proven ability to build deep, trust-based relationships and scale developer or partner ecosystems in mobile, internet, gaming, fintech, or e-commerce domains. Strategic mindset with strong executional rigor : able to take an ambiguous problem, define a scalable solution, and drive outcomes with cross-functional alignment. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills : experienced in engaging CXOs, internal leadership, and external ecosystem players. Demonstrated ability to lead large charters independently with an entrepreneurial drive to open up new opportunities of growth and strong execution rigour to follow it up. Someone who loves to go through the idea- pilot - measure - scale loop. Possesses a good mix of intuition & analytical decision making . Ability to balance long-term vision with short- and medium-term goals. Experience in working with or leading high-performance cross functional teams , setting up processes, mentoring talent, and creating cultural alignment.
