The Applications Development Programmer Analyst role at our organization is an intermediate-level position where you will play a key role in establishing and implementing new or updated application systems and programs in collaboration with the Technology team. Your primary objective will be to contribute to the analysis and programming activities related to application systems. As an Oracle PL/SQL developer, you will be responsible for collaborating with Senior Oracle/PLSQL developers/DBAs, Angular/Java developers, and Automation engineers to develop comprehensive end-to-end solutions. Your duties will include utilizing your knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts to identify necessary system enhancements, analyzing issues, making recommendations, and implementing solutions. Additionally, you will leverage your expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development, logical and physical data models, and maintenance of DDLs to contribute effectively to the team. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and define necessary system enhancements using your understanding of applications development procedures - Analyze issues, make recommendations, and implement solutions to solve complex problems - Utilize your expertise in Oracle objects, PL/SQL code, and SQL to write complex queries - Collaborate with server-side/UI developers and DBAs to develop end-to-end solutions - Familiarity with data migrations and ability to conduct testing, debugging, and write basic code for design specifications - Develop a working knowledge of various technical areas including client-server application development, database administration, and network operations - Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations to safeguard the firm's reputation Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development related to web application development in Angular, Java, and Oracle tech stack - Basic knowledge of logical and physical data models, maintenance of DDLs - Expertise in Oracle objects, PL/SQL code, and writing complex SQL queries - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to develop end-to-end solutions - Familiarity with data migrations Education: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field Please note that this job description provides a high-level overview of the responsibilities associated with this role.
