Deputy Manager/ Manager - Seating Design To design complete seats including frames, foam and seat trims for passenger/ commercial vehicles. Support sales & marketing in new business development by designing seats for RFI/ RFQ phase Generate and implement VAVE ideas Able to run DFMEA/ DFM/ DFA Able to understand and implement customer requirements and prepare seat design and RFQ Should be able to do hand calculation and interpret CAE results Should understand regulations and testing methods To absorb and support in implementing new designs/ technologies Able to take counter measures of test failures should be able to prepare 3D cad and 2D drawing should be able to interpret and apply GD&T Detailed preparation for technical presentations BOM preparation for costing and other activities Maintaining & ensuring release of all design records with prescribed system Effectively management of ECR/ ECN Skills : Expertise on CATIA, UG NX, Auto Cad

Role & responsibilities Responsible for more than one zone or complete product Mandatory Design Kick-off at the beginnning of the program (align with Scope, org chart, timing, Milestones etc) For his product, define technical solutions and CAD data (2D & 3D) using proper Faurecia standard templates and CAD methodology Program delivery planning and execution. Concept design, Master sections Functional drawings Tolerance stack book GD&T (including KC for internal and customer needs) Conduct weekly design reviews with team and management Mandatory Top 5 with team to define work and feedback from previous day Maintain team level SLI and discuss with SPDE for open points Customer constraints and specifications. Applicable regulations and legislation. Assign detailed work to Project Design team through appropriated method Resource loading as per Kanban Ensure Project Design team are aware of Faurecia Product Standards and Guidelines, and customer constraints and specifications. Ensure process feasibility of the product design and A-Surfaces (with GTS team if needed). Ensure overall product Design for Performance (including implementation into CAD of inputs with regard to results of simulation, tests and validation to meet performance criteria) with development engineering team, if needed. Support the KPC identification, Support DFMEA. At the end of a program, make appropriate capitalization documents (Lessons learned, Technical Reports) to feed/improve Design and Development standards and guidelines. Identify training needs for the team members based on their skill matrix To uphold & abide by code of ethics & Management Awareness of QMS policy & Processes. Ensuring all work process & procedures are in aline with QMS objectives & reporting any incident of deviation from QMS. The main missions of the role are: Responsible for detail product design according to standards and guidelines. Masters specific areas of complete Seat, Frame, Plastic ,Foam and Accessories of a given technology. STAR reviews of team members. 1 on 1 with each team members, quarterly. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have/be: Minimum education level: Engineering degree. Experience : Engineering degree, or significant professional experience Total minimum 10 years experience of which at least 6 years of relevant experience in design as a product design engineer in automotive Seating design. English required, and customers language strongly encouraged Able to work in a multicultural environment. Significant experience on design of compltet Seat products. Should know product launch life cycle. Having experience of program level work. Team handling experience. Skills and competencies : Knowledge of regulatory requirements. ( ECE,FMVSS, ADR, AIS etc..) knowledge of Safety, Comfort, Packaging and Environment layouts. Thorough experience in Design and development in required domain , i.e. Seating's. Knowledge of assigned program timing and deliverables at each milestone Knowledge of program standards, tools and methods. like Tolerance stack, DFMEA, CAE, DVP, Test planning Problem solving techniques. Exposure to A3, 8D and QRCI. Strategic and analytical capabilities. Shall able to conduct Design reviews with other departments and maintain SLI. 3 to 4 experience with Foam pads considering manufacturing & tooling Knowledge of complete seat for foam design and foam manufacturing, testing methods in CATIA V5.

Responsible for Complete seating structural frame components-Cushion frame, Back frame,Tracks, Recliners, mechanism. Development of Complete Seating Structures considering DFM,DFA. Experience in component level ,full Complete seat DVP&R and DFMEA
