As the Support for the Global Product Group Quality Manager (GPG QM) for Insulation and Components (I&C) at Hitachi Energy, your primary responsibility will be to define, implement, and ensure the sustainability of actions and initiatives aimed at enhancing the Quality performance of the Insulation and Components product group. This role involves collaborating with Factory Quality Managers, HUB Quality Managers, and other stakeholders under the leadership of the GPG QM to drive Quality improvement across all factories. Your Impact: - Develop projects and initiatives based on the Quality Improvement Plan for Insulation and Components product lines - Monitor and analyze Quality monthly Performance data across factories, GPG, and Product lines - Ensure full implementation of key Quality processes at the local level - Create and update I&C Global Quality Documentation in collaboration with global experts - Develop Quality Management Systems for I&C product lines, including global deliverables - Conduct CPR Audits with Operations Experts and ensure closure of identified gaps - Lead or support TOP Issues with an 8D Approach for efficient problem-solving - Facilitate Lessons Learned sharing and communicate Quality Alerts - Identify opportunities for Digital Transformation in Quality Controls and support implementation of digital tools - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity Your Background: - Engineering University degree, with Master of Science or equivalent - 5+ years of experience in bushings, Quality, Production, R&D, Design, or Manufacturing - 2+ years of experience in Quality - Proficient in written and spoken English with excellent communication skills - Proactive, open-minded, and culturally aware - Strong passion for personal development and serving others - Ability to lead through influence - Customer-oriented with a drive for competitiveness improvements in Quality - Experience in Quality Audits, certification preferred - L6S certification preferred About Us: At Hitachi Energy, we offer a collaborative work environment with challenging projects that make a real impact.
