Perform comprehensive competitive intelligence (CI) analysis at franchise/brand/disease area level to derive actionable insights focused on strategic imperatives. Conduct holistic CI surveillance of competitor products/companies and Therapy area (TA) of interest. Provide proactive support and timely communication of competitive threats from external factors (such as Market, Competitor & Portfolio Analysis) to optimize opportunities in both clinical and marketing activities. As a Competitive Intelligence Manager for CART in the Immunology TA for the US market, you will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to add business value through secondary desk research and effectively manage primary CI activities. Track competitive developments using various Novartis subscribed databases like ClinicalTrials.gov, TrialTrove, etc., collaborating closely with CI/Medical/Commercial/x-functional teams. Ensure deliverables adhere to CI communications plan and ethical guidelines. Track competitive developments in CART technology platform (for Immunology) and provide input for adapting clinical/commercial/regulatory strategies for the key NVS portfolio. Manage Pre-congress planning (via abstract mining) and Post-congress reporting activities. Collate materials gathered by primary CI vendors, review and summarize them. Distill key lessons and takeaways, provide recommendations and insights for the brand/x-functional teams. Develop strategic implications and manage communications with the team and external customers as necessary. Support ad-hoc projects and internal meetings such as Scenario Planning pre-read preparation, clinical trial/pipeline report updates, LCM plan inputs, etc. Supervise the work of CI analysts and provide supportive coaching and guidance. Requirements: - Education: PhD/Masters Degree in Life Sciences. MBA from reputed institutes. - Languages: Fluent spoken and written English essential. - Experience: 8+ years of experience in Competitive Intelligence, Market Intelligence, Business Development & Licensing, or consulting assignments.
