The role of Video Editor at our company requires a skilled and creative individual who is passionate about storytelling through visual media. As a Video Editor, you will need to have strong technical skills in video editing software and a keen eye for detail. Your main responsibilities will include meeting with the director to determine the production vision, reviewing raw material to create a shot list, manipulating film and video footage using modern editing techniques, and maintaining continuity in moving shots according to scene value. You will also be responsible for trimming footage, putting together the rough project, inserting dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects, and ensuring the project follows a logical sequence. Additionally, you will be correcting errors in existing content, consulting with the Director and production team throughout the project, and creating the final cut for broadcasting. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in film studies, cinematography, or a related field, along with previous work experience as a video editor. Hands-on experience with editing software such as Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, and Premier is essential. Creative and artistic skills are a must, and familiarity with 3D composition and special effects is desirable. You should have a portfolio of completed film productions, the ability to work within a tight schedule, and the capability to translate ideas into complete projects.,
