Your primary responsibility will be to work on the clearing system, managing clearing processing for Credit and Debit transactions. This involves editing transactions to ensure compliance with Mastercard processing standards, performing currency conversion, assessing interchange fees, and calculating settlement values for each transaction. You will also be involved in testing solutions for the Clearing and Core Systems using mainframe technology stack. In this role, you will be expected to manage the test project schedule, track deliverables, and collaborate with various groups including vendors and internal teams to ensure project success. Your experience in full lifecycle development and testing projects, along with expertise in various testing methodologies including Agile, will be valuable. To excel in this position, you should have experience in mainframe testing tools such as JCL, COBOL, DB2, CICS, VSAM files, Abend-aid, and File Manager. Additionally, proficiency in Java testing tools like Java, Spring Boot-based applications, REST/SOAP API testing, front-end validation using HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and database validation using SQL is required. Familiarity with tools like JIRA, HP ALM, Confluence, Git, Jenkins, and Selenium will be beneficial. You should also be passionate about quality initiatives, automation, and code quality. Strong communication skills and the ability to guide others in implementing the right solutions are essential for this role.
