As a Commvault Backup Resource with 6-10 years of experience in working with Commvault backup solutions, your role will involve various responsibilities and qualifications. Here is a breakdown of what is expected from you: Role Overview: - You should possess a strong understanding of Commvault features such as Dedup policies, DDB maintenance, DASH, Backup, Restores, and complex backup architecture. - Your responsibilities will include installing and configuring VSA, Proxy servers, and Hyperscales, as well as providing BAU administration and support for the CommVault backup environment. - Experience in data protection and backup recovery solutions, such as virtual tape, disk, and data replication, will be beneficial. - The role requires provisioning and supporting backups for Virtual Environments, Windows, UNIX/Linux, Business Applications, and Databases, emphasizing the importance of excellent Customer Service Skills. - It is essential that you are a certified Backup Administrator, specifically Commvault Certified, with the ability to develop and communicate best practices for backup in a large customer environment. - Other responsibilities include upgrading and patching Backup servers, integrating Oracle/SQL/ESX/NDMP with NetBackup, and managing the Internal Database of NetBackup.
