The Westin Chennai Velachery is currently looking for a Full Time team member to join the Food and Beverage & Culinary department in a non-management position. As part of the team, your responsibilities will include completing closing duties such as storing reusable goods, cleaning equipment and areas, restocking items, and ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain cleanliness throughout the day, follow company policies and safety procedures, and report any accidents or unsafe conditions to the manager. It is important to uphold a clean and professional appearance, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and welcome all guests according to company standards. Effective communication with team members and guests is essential, as well as developing positive working relationships and supporting common goals. Adherence to quality expectations and standards is crucial, along with the ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting objects, and bending. The ideal candidate for this position should have a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. No related work experience or supervisory experience is required, and there are no specific licenses or certifications necessary.
