This role of Finance Coordinator is a permanent full-time role based in Bangalore (home based currently) at ₹6,50,000 to ₹7,50,000 per annum dependent on experience and skills. The purpose of this role is to act as the key data manager for accounts receivable and accounts payable at Common Purpose. You will be responsible for: Supplier Invoices Setting up and managing supplier details in the accounting system On a daily basis, processing purchase transactions in the accounting system Dealing with purchase enquiries from suppliers Checking and reconciling supplier statements 2. Staff expenses Processing, checking and managing staff expenses including personal expenses and corporate credit card transactions 3. Sales Ledger & Cash Book Maintaining up to date and accurate records on the Sales Ledger Resolving any unidentified receipts by month end Reconciling the balance sheet for accrued income, deferred income, aged debtors to debtors' control, cash book to bank statement, holding income, holding payment account and bad debts Proactively liaising with business teams to ensure early invoicing and regarding inconsistencies against accounting records 4. Review and process sales transactions Checking and processing sales ledger invoices, credit notes and cash receipts Resolving any discrepancies and follow up on specific invoicing matters with business units Regularly expediting debt chasing for 30 day plus outstanding debts 5. Payment applications Daily importing of all company bank accounts into the financial system Matching payments against open invoices in the financial system You bring this experience with you: High level administrative and organization skills and attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication skills, with excellent written and spoken English.
