Job Title: LT & HT Service Engineer Location: Hyderabad Employment Type: Full-Time Reports To: Service Manager/Lead Engineer Job Description Seeking a proactive LT & HT Service Engineer with 2 years of experience, specialized in the electrical service industry.. You will be responsible for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Low Tension (LT) and High Tension (HT) electrical systems at customer sites, including industrial clients, commercial buildings, and utilities. Key Responsibilities Install, commission, test, and maintain LT & HT equipment (transformers, switchgear, HT/LT panels, APFC panels, circuit breakers etc.) at diverse commercial and industrial client locations. Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in LT & HT systems, minimizing downtime for customers. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and safety audits on electrical infrastructure as per industry best practices. Conduct insulation resistance tests, earth resistance measurements, and load analysis to ensure operational efficiency and compliance. Prepare detailed service reports, maintenance logbooks, and documentation for each job site. Ensure workplace and electrical safety standards are adhered to for all site jobs, using appropriate PPE and lockout-tagout protocols. Respond rapidly to breakdown calls, emergencies, and customer complaints related to electrical systems. Coordinate with other technical teams, OEMs, vendors, or third-party contractors for efficient service delivery. Desired Skills & Requirements ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering (mandatory). Minimum of 2 years' field experience servicing LT & HT electrical infrastructure in the service industry. Hands-on knowledge of installation, OPERATION, and troubleshooting of transformers, PCC/MCC panels, VCB, ACB, relays, HT/LT cabling, and protection systems. Familiarity with reading electrical schematic diagrams, layouts, and technical documents. Strong understanding of Indian electrical standards (IS codes), safety norms, and statutory compliance. Effective communication skills for client interaction and on-site coordination. Basic proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word), email, and electronic report submission. Willingness to travel to client sites, work flexible hours, and handle fieldwork independently. Additional Details Industry focus: Service provider to commercial, industrial, utility, and facility management sectors. Location: Field-based; travel to various client/customer locations as required. Salary: Compensation in line with industry norms and experience.
