Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Lab Support Engineer to join the Multimedia Audio Systems and Algorithm development team. As a Lab Support Engineer, you will collaborate with a team of R&D experts to facilitate HW designs, prototypes, and development for Multimedia solutions. You will be responsible for handling initial hardware bring up, circuitry reworks, enabling test platforms, upgrading test boards, ensuring ESD and ESH compliance, competitor analysis support, and executing standard tests with thermal and acoustic specifications. Key Responsibilities: - Handling initial hardware bring up for all programs, including base rework, mounting parts, quick testing, and allocation. - Performing regular circuitry reworks on platforms and providing HW support for Audio systems programs. - Enabling test platforms such as MTP, CDP, QRD, EVMs, emulators, interposers, and add-on cards. - Upgrading test boards with component reworks, module, and chip replacement. - Ensuring ESD and ESH compliance in the lab. - Providing competitor analysis support. - Conducting standard tests with thermal and acoustic specifications, setting up audio and data capture equipment. - Utilizing standard lab HW equipment like scopes, multimeters, and audio-specific equipment such as APX and Laser Vibrometer. - Managing the asset inventory and test equipment for the Audio systems team. Minimum Qualifications: - Experience in board reworks and working on lab equipment. - Diploma or Bachelor's in Electronics with 1-2 years of experience. Educational Qualification: - Bachelor's degree and 1+ year of Support Engineering or related work experience. OR - Associate's degree and 2+ years of Support Engineering or related work experience. OR - High School Diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of Support Engineering or related work experience. - Completed advanced degree in a relevant field may be substituted for up to one year of work experience (Masters = one year).
