To support this bold vision, we are looking for an accomplished Associate Director Legal to take charge of legal strategy and execution across our Go-to-Market initiatives and AI business vertical. This role sits at the intersection of law, technology, and business, and will be central to enabling growth while managing risk in highly dynamic and regulated industries. What will you do ? Partner with GTM and sales leaders to structure, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts with distributors, OEMs, enterprise customers, and channel partners. ? Drive agile and compliant GTM execution, including product launches, consumer warranties, after-sales programs, and marketing communications. ? Advise on AI governance, data usage, licensing, and responsible AI frameworks, ensuring alignment with DPDP, GDPR, global AI regulations, and emerging Indian laws. ? Shape internal policies around responsible and ethical AI, balancing innovation with regulatory guardrails. ? Protect and commercialize IP, algorithms, and proprietary datasets across AI and EV businesses. ? Lead implementation of data privacy and cybersecurity frameworks, covering cross-border data transfers and compliance-by-design. ? Manage regulatory risks, disputes, and external counsel strategy, ensuring proactive risk mitigation. ? Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing commercially relevant legal guidance at high speed. What are we looking for ? LL.B. (LL.M. preferred) with 1216 years PQE across law firms and in-house roles. ? Strong experience in technology/AI, data privacy, and commercial contracting; exposure to consumer-facing industries is a plus. ? Expertise in DPDP, GDPR, AI regulation, consumer law, and commercial negotiations. ? Exceptional ability to balance legal risk with business agility. ? Basic Qualifications: A degree in law from a reputable university in India and admission to practice Law in India and at least five-six (5-6) years of experience practicing law, and demonstrated ability to handle and advise on a wide range of legal matters, with a solid independent command of labor & employment laws, ABAC laws, and laws relevant to complex commercial arrangements and contracting on technology- and data- related subjects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency with local language and English (oral and written) required Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of corporate and/or law firm experience, or in-house in a multinational corporation (or global capabilities center), or a combination of both. Experience in a life sciences/health care experience preferred. Strong qualifications in transactional work in any industry, including structuring, advising and counseling on complex transactions and drafting, negotiating and interpreting complex contracts Experience counseling clients on complex legal and regulatory considerations, including employment Proven superior legal skills, including: excellent oral and written communication, legal analysis, drafting and negotiation skills and sound judgment Experience with digital transformation initiatives, including generative AI, in the healthcare industry preferred Ability to lead and influence others Strong client service, business counseling and problem-solving focus Ability to manage multi-dimensional projects in a fast-paced environment Superior academic achievement

The responsibilities for this role include drafting and reviewing contracts entered into by the Company with Customers/Partners/Vendors, managing the Legal Document Repository, overseeing the Company's commercial contracting process, and ensuring contractual, legal, and regulatory compliance across various regions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate contract closures and evaluate risk factors related to business decisions. Additionally, you will coordinate with external lawyers/firms in case of litigations and engage in communication and negotiation with external parties on contractual clauses. The ideal candidate should possess 5-7 years of corporate law experience across US, Middle East, or South East Asia (SEA), with a strong proficiency in drafting and reviewing contracts. You should have a keen interest in learning and exploring new opportunities, along with a thorough understanding of corporate law and procedures. Demonstrated ability to develop legal strategies, ethical conduct, analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities are crucial for this role. Experience in handling litigations and exposure to Mergers & Acquisitions would be advantageous.,

The CLM team provides end-to-end assistance on all types of commercial contracting to the legal and business teams of large MNCs and law firms. The pre-execution arm of the CLM team (or Drafting team) is set up to function as an extension of the in-house legal team of the client and assist the contracting process from the point the business requests a contract to when the contract is approved and signed. We review and negotiate commercial contracts based on our clients" organizational policies and guidelines, get the necessary approvals, and get the contracts signed. Complexity or deal value are not a bar in any sense for us - we provide these services for contracts ranging from bespoke and complex to more standardized or even related administrative work. We work with clients across industries and business lines that cover direct procurement, indirect procurement, sales, and other ancillary functions. Your key responsibilities include: - Performing the first-line review of contracts for the purchase and sale of services, technology or goods, or the exchange of information or data, to identify issues in context and make and negotiate appropriate changes that reflect your clients" strategy and protect their interests. - Assisting senior team members in negotiating contracts for clients from various sectors such as Banking and Finance, Telecommunications, Healthcare, Heavy Industries, Manufacturing, IT Services, etc. - Supporting seniors in preparation for, and conduct of, negotiation calls with clients" counterparties. - Contributing towards the creation of project playbooks and other knowledge tools to successfully meet client expectations. - Preparing reports and other documents as per client needs. - Acting as a team player while working with a team of lawyers within the organization as well as with the clients" legal representatives and business teams. - Providing professional, timely, and prompt service and responses to seniors so that they can support the client contacts and the business teams. - Actively participating in, and ensuring timely completion of, mandatory and non-mandatory training and certification courses. - Confirming to deadlines on client deliverables and renegotiating deadlines (when necessary) well in advance of the originally scheduled deadline; escalating client issues promptly and appropriately; consistently completing real-time client call notes. To qualify for the role, you must have a Bachelors/Masters degree and Law degree (LLB or LLM) from accredited, reputable institutions. An Attorney with 0 to 12 months of commercial contract review, redlining, and negotiation experience (preferably in a multinational corporation, in-house legal team, legal services provider, or law firm handling similar work).
