The General Manager – Head of Operations will be the central operational leader of the dealership, reporting directly to the CEO. This individual will be responsible for managing the end-to-end functioning of all business verticals – including Sales, Service, Spare Parts, Finance & Insurance, Pre-Owned Vehicles, and Customer Experience. The role requires a hands-on leader with strategic vision and operational discipline. Experience Required: Minimum 10 years in automotive dealership operations, with at least 3–5 years in a senior operational role Roles and responibilities: Operational Leadership • Lead day-to-day operations across all departments: showroom sales, service workshops, spare parts, used cars, insurance, and finance • Drive monthly and annual performance targets in line with Tata Motors’ standards and internal goals • Ensure seamless customer journey from inquiry to delivery and post-sales service Business Growth & Profitability • Implement business strategies to maximize revenue and profitability across verticals • Ensure optimal stock, vehicle allocation, and sales conversion ratios • Monitor and improve productivity KPIs across departments Customer Experience & Brand Standards • Maintain high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) and DCSI scores • Enforce Tata Motors brand SOPs, showroom standards, and digital journey protocols • Resolve high-priority customer escalations effectively and swiftly Team Development & Leadership • Supervise and mentor departmental heads and their teams • Drive training, performance management, and employee engagement • Foster a high-performance culture with strong discipline and customer focus Reporting & Compliance • Maintain rigorous MIS, budgeting, and reporting systems for CEO review • Ensure all statutory and OEM compliance, audits, and operational assessments are met • Drive adoption of CRM, DMS, and digital tools for operational efficiency Show more Show less
