Commercial Artist - Advertising

As a Commercial Artist at our fast-growing and creative-first marketing agency, you will play a key role in creating visual concepts and ad layouts for various platforms, ensuring high-quality design outputs aligned with brand standards. Your strong design background in advertising or branding, combined with fine art fundamentals and digital skills, will be instrumental in delivering impactful visual storytelling. Key Responsibilities: - Create visual concepts and ad layouts for print, digital, social media, and campaign assets using CorelDRAW and Illustrator. - Design packaging, brochure, flyer, outdoor creatives, and POS materials. - Collaborate closely with creative and strategy teams to understand brief objectives and deliver brand-aligned visual outputs. - Utilize After Effects for simple 2D asset animation or text-based motion visuals. - Prepare print-ready final artwork with correct bleed, alignment, and color standards. - Maintain design consistency, typography precision, and layout hygiene across all collateral. - Assist in conceptualizing ideas and mood boards for new pitches and client campaigns. - Curate and manage an up-to-date asset library of visuals, icons, and templates for internal and external use. Qualifications Required: - Degree/Diploma in Commercial Art (BFA/GD Art). - Minimum 13 years of experience as a Commercial Artist or Designer in an agency setup. - Proficiency in CorelDRAW and Adobe Illustrator. - Working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, and InDesign is a plus. - Understanding of print production processes and digital format requirements. - Strong creative vision, color sense, and composition skills. - Ability to take ownership and deliver within tight deadlines.
