The Role: Account Manager / Client Relationship Manager We are seeking an intellectually curious and commercially astute Account Manager/Client Relationship Manager to be the strategic bridge between Comma’s creative and digital teams and our esteemed clients. You won't just manage relationships; you will drive growth and act as a strategic consultant, ensuring our solutions align perfectly with our clients' business objectives. What You Will Do Strategic Leadership & Growth Own the Client P&L: Manage a portfolio of key accounts, focusing on maximizing retention, identifying high-value upsell/cross-sell opportunities (strategy, digitalization, comms), and consistently achieving revenue targets. Be a Strategic Consultant: Translate complex client business goals into clear, actionable Statement of Work (SOW) proposals and briefs for our internal teams. Client & Conflict Resolution Navigate High-Stakes Conflicts: Expertly handle sensitive client feedback, project roadblocks, and internal conflicts. Maintain composure and use analytical reasoning to de-escalate situations and drive mutually beneficial outcomes. Champion Client Success: Ensure a seamless client journey from onboarding to delivery, constantly gathering feedback and translating it into continuous improvement for the agency’s processes. Negotiate & Protect Scope: Defend project scope and profitability through professional, firm, and relationship-focused negotiation, ensuring all work is properly scoped and billed. Internal Collaboration Act as the quarterback for cross-functional teams (Creative, Tech, Strategy), ensuring efficient workflow and timely delivery of projects. Provide clear, concise, and structured direction to project teams, protecting them from unnecessary scope creep and managing client expectations proactively. What We’re Looking For (Required Skills) Proven Experience: 2-3 years in a client-facing Account Management or Client Relations role, preferably within a branding, digital, or advertising agency. Sports Marketing knowledge is a plus. Conflict & Stakeholder Management: Exceptional soft skills in negotiation, conflict resolution, and the ability to influence C-level stakeholders. Data Proficiency: Comfort with tools, reports, data analysis, and using metrics to substantiate creative or strategic recommendations.
