The primary responsibilities of the role include acting as the primary technical resource and point of contact for the Software Architect and Project Manager. You will actively participate in design discussions, providing valuable feedback on architectural choices and their impact on cost and timelines. It will be your responsibility to clearly communicate requirements and design specifications to the development team. Additionally, you will be involved in reviewing Code, Unit, and Integration Test plans to ensure that quality, functionality, and performance requirements are met. As part of your duties, you will review and analyze performance test data to identify any application bottlenecks and apply your knowledge of current tools and technologies to problem-solving. You will also play a crucial role as a mentor to the development team, identifying areas where team members may require additional training and support. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field, or possess equivalent qualifications, along with a minimum of 5 years of directly related work experience. Proficiency in the following technologies is required: - .NET Framework with C# / ASP.NET - GIS Technologies including Geocoding, Routing, and Mapping - Web Services - Microsoft UIP, with a preference for .Net web architectures over alternative options - Strong background in Windows Application Development - Experience in Web Application Development - Unit Test Automation experience using tools like NUnit and Mock Frameworks - Familiarity with Visual Studio 2005 / 2008 - Proficiency in at least one RDBMS such as SQL 2000/2005, Oracle 10g, or Sybase ASA 9.0 - UML Modeling tool proficiency (Rational / Visio) Additionally, desirable knowledge includes: - Web Forms development - Exposure to Software as a Service (SaaS) development - .NET Interop with COM components - Asset / Infrastructure Management systems If you meet the qualifications and are looking to join a dynamic team where you can contribute your technical expertise and mentorship skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.,
