Experience : 5–7 years in corporate finance, accounting, taxation, and compliance (preferably in an MNC or similar setup) Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced and qualified professional to lead our Finance & Compliance function for CSM India. This critical role will be responsible for managing statutory compliances, financial reporting, tax matters, corporate filings, and internal controls in accordance with Indian laws and global standards. The incumbent will also play a key role in ensuring the smooth financial operation of the India entity while maintaining alignment with group-level financial policies. Key Responsibilities: Statutory Compliance & Taxation Ensure full compliance with all applicable Indian tax laws including GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and Income Tax. Oversee accurate and timely filing of all statutory returns and payments. Manage all FEMA and RBI related compliances for cross-border and forex transactions. Handle filings and co-ordination with Registrar of Companies (ROC), Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) and ensure compliance with Companies Act. Accounting & Financial Reporting Maintain accurate and complete financial records as per Indian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and align with global reporting standards. Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and financial reporting. Prepare financial statements and support internal and statutory audits. Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities as required. Payroll & HR Statutory Compliance Oversee payroll processing and compliance with labor laws including Provident Fund (PF), ESI, Gratuity, and Bonus Act. Manage employee taxation, reimbursements, and full & final settlements in coordination with HR or GM. Cash Flow & Treasury Management Monitor daily cash flow, banking operations, fund transfers, and petty cash handling. Ensure forex transactions and remittances comply with FEMA and RBI guidelines. Corporate Law, ROC & Regulatory Affairs Handle corporate secretarial filings, ROC returns, and director compliances. Ensure timely submission of statutory returns and maintain all regulatory approvals. Internal Controls & Risk Management Develop, implement, and monitor internal financial and operational controls. Ensure adherence to anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and internal policies. Business & Management Support Provide periodic MIS reports, forecasts, and financial analysis to management. Advise management on financial risks, statutory changes, and business decisions. Support the General Manager on budget control, cost optimization, and local office operations. Team Leadership Supervise and mentor a junior accountant handling daily transactions, bank entries, vendor payments, and staff reimbursements. Desired Profile: Chartered Accountant (CA) with post-qualification experience in finance, accounts, taxation, and regulatory compliances. Strong understanding of Indian taxation laws, FEMA/RBI regulations, ROC/MCA processes, and corporate financial reporting. Experience in handling audits and direct interactions with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies. Excellent communication skills for coordination with global finance teams. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment. Prior experience in an MNC or foreign subsidiary preferred.
