You will be working as a Senior Fashion Designer for Heart&Soul, a prominent manufacturer of Indian ethnic wear located in Surat. Your role will involve creating innovative and high-quality saree collections that blend traditional design aesthetics with modern trends. Your key responsibilities will include conceptualizing and designing new saree collections, conducting market research to stay updated on emerging trends, fabrics, and designing techniques. You will be required to create sketches, detailed technical drawings, and select appropriate fabrics, colors, and embellishments to enhance the overall design. Leading and mentoring the design team, presenting design concepts to senior management, overseeing prototype creation, conducting fittings, and coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers for production timelines and quality control are also part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Designing, possess 4-7 years of fashion design experience with a focus on sarees for at least 3 years, and have a strong portfolio showcasing successful saree designs. Proficiency in design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, a deep understanding of saree draping styles, garment construction, and Indian textiles, exceptional creativity, attention to detail, and leadership skills are essential. Preferred skills include experience in traditional and contemporary saree designs, knowledge of sustainable fashion practices and materials, and a strong network within the saree industry.,
