Job Description Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Faculty member for the Foundation Program at the School of Arts and Design. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring first-year design students, building their core creative skills and foundational understanding of design. Qualifications: Masters degree in Design or Fine Arts (specialization in Foundation-level subjects is a must) Strong academic and/or professional background in the following subjects: Drawing & Sketching Fundamentals of Design Material Exploration Photography History of Design Color Fundamentals Proven ability to engage with diverse student groups and foster a strong learning environment Comfortable working in a multicultural and collaborative academic setting Experience: Assistant Professor: 25 years of teaching/professional experience Associate Professor: 58 years of teaching/professional experience Professor: 10+ years of teaching/professional experience with a strong academic or research background Desirable Skills: Ability to integrate interdisciplinary approaches into foundation-level teaching Hands-on expertise with a variety of materials and creative media Proficiency in both traditional and digital tools for teaching design Strong mentoring and student engagement skills Interest in research and contribution to the academic growth of foundation studies Application: Interested candidates are requested to email their CV and portfolio to [HIDDEN TEXT] Show more Show less
