Data Pipelines & Engineering Build and orchestrate robust, fault-tolerant data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) , Databricks, and custom ETL frameworks. Drive transformation of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data into optimized formats for downstream use. Big Data & Analytics Integration Utilize Azure Databricks for large-scale data processing, machine learning data prep, and distributed data transformations. Enable seamless data flows from lake to warehouse to visualization. Data Governance & Quality Implement robust data governance protocols including lineage, cataloging, classification, and access management. Ensure security, compliance, and adherence to regulatory data policies (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.). BI & Reporting Enablement Collaborate with analytics and reporting teams to provide highly available, performant, and clean data to tools like Power BI . Standardize KPIs, metrics definitions, and data sources for enterprise-wide reporting consistency. Collaboration & Leadership Engage with product owners, business leaders, and engineering teams to define long-term data strategies. Mentor engineers, review architectures, and set coding and documentation standards. What You Bring 8–10 years of experience in data architecture or engineering , including 5+ years designing solutions on Microsoft Azure . Expertise in Azure services: ADF, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Synapse, Azure SQL , and Power BI. Proven experience building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines , with deep understanding of data transformation frameworks . Proficiency in Python , SQL , or Scala for scripting, data wrangling, and logic workflows. In-depth understanding of data modeling , data warehouse concepts, performance tuning, and storage optimization. Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines in the context of data engineering. Strong collaboration, documentation, and communication skills — with the ability to work cross-functionally. Nice to Have Microsoft certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate or Solutions Architect . Hands-on experience with Azure Purview , Collibra , or other data governance and catalog tools. Familiarity with Apache Spark , version control systems, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes). Show more Show less
