Cash Collection Manager

Our financial health depends on a disciplined credit cycle and steady cash flow. We are looking for a firm and professional Cash Collection Manager to oversee the recovery of project-based payments. Your role is to ensure that our credit terms are respected and that all client dues are secured through systematic, persistent follow-up and effective dispute resolution.

Objectives of this role

• Safeguard company cash flow by ensuring 100% of project payments are collected on time.
• Minimize aging accounts by identifying and resolving payment hurdles early in the cycle.
• Maintain professional but firm relationships with client accounts departments.
• Ensure real-time transparency of the company’s accounts receivable status.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all outstanding invoices and track them against project milestones and agreed-on terms.
• Execute a systematic reminder schedule via calls and WhatsApp to ensure clients are aware of upcoming dues.
• Conduct direct, persistent follow-up calls to secure payments from overdue accounts.
• Coordinate with client accounts teams to resolve billing or documentation queries that may delay payment.
• Maintain accurate, real-time records of collection statuses and expected payment dates in the CRM.

Required skills and qualifications

• Assertive communication style with a "non-shy" nature regarding money and overdue payments.
• Extreme persistence and a high level of follow-through.
• Absolute integrity in reporting collections and handling sensitive financial data.
• Ability to remain professional and calm during difficult negotiation or conflict scenarios.

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Previous experience in debt recovery or accounts receivable management.
• Familiarity with legal or contractual payment terms.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
