Collection executive ( Lab)

Job Summary

The Collection Executive will be responsible for the timely collection, safe handling, and transportation of lab samples from various Care and Cure branches to the central laboratory. The role requires punctuality, strong attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect biological samples from designated Care and Cure branch locations as per daily schedule.
• Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and documentation of samples before transport.
• Maintain sample integrity by following temperature control and handling guidelines.
• Coordinate with branch staff and central lab team for smooth workflow and timely dispatch.
• Maintain accurate records of collected and delivered samples.
• Follow infection control protocols and use PPE as required.
• Ensure safe and efficient transportation using company-provided vehicle or approved travel mode.
• Report delays, discrepancies, or damaged samples immediately to the supervisor.
• Assist in inventory management of sample collection materials if required.
• Uphold high standards of professionalism and communication while interacting with staff and clients.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum qualification: 10/+2/ Diploma in any science discipline preferred.
• Experience in lab sample collection or logistics in a healthcare environment is an advantage.
• Valid two-wheeler driving license (mandatory).
• Basic understanding of laboratory sample types and preservation preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential medical information with integrity.
• Should be flexible with working hours, including weekends if needed.
