As a Loan Administration Assistant at Ares, your primary responsibilities will include daily processing tasks, such as checking Ares owned DDAs for incoming wires, reconciliation of daily collections, vendor invoice processing, maintaining SOFR interest amounts, and providing loan administration assistance. You will also be responsible for monitoring alerts from a 3rd party vendor system, reviewing borrower collateral reporting packages, calculating daily borrowing capacity, and posting collateral values to the loan monitoring platform. Additionally, you will perform monthly accounts receivable verifications, maintain a client checklist, assist in setting up borrowers" initial borrowing base certificates, and support Credit Officers with daily portfolio management. Effective communication with team members, customers, senior management, and other stakeholders will be crucial in this role. The ideal candidate will have a college degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or a minimum of two years of experience in the Asset Based Lending industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is required. Strong communication skills, mathematical aptitude, ambition to learn and grow, ability to maintain confidentiality, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment are key attributes for success in this role. This position reports to the Managing Director of Operations in the Commercial Finance department.
